What Designers Can Do

The world doesn’t give a damn about design, says the always happily provocative editor-in-chief of the Italian version of Wired magazine, mister Carlo Antonelli. We met Antonelli at What Design Can Do, an annual conference about the social ambitions of design, where we asked him and two other specialists about how they see the future of design.

Nicolas Roope, founder of companies as Poke and Hulger, and Mike Kruzeniski, lead designer at Twitter, both recognize the changing role of the designer: from mere designing products to thinking about solutions for the real problem this world is facing.
