The 13-year itch…
In 2001, what seems like eons ago now, we set up studio in a former synagogue. Experienced some happy and some turbulent times there over the years. But you know how it is with long relationships. Sometimes you need to break free, and start anew. And that is what we are doing. We are packing up our things, getting ready to relocate to Amsterdam-West. Not as super central, but our new space as of 18 July 2014, is truly something else. We’re in love!
Formerly an anatomic pathology laboratory, our new home is a protected monument that also plays host to a proper cafe-restaurant and a cinema, artist studios, urban gardens, and four bee colonies. We’re buzzed! But there’s more. Besides the Submarine crew, Lab111 also houses a nice bunch of friendly film organisations and companies.
Moving to Lab111 is like the doors have been opened to an entire ocean of new possibilities. All we need now are new curtains.
Time to update your address books.

Some iPhone snaps from the exterior. Interior pics coming as soon as we’re over.
We can park our Submarine in the canal. How convenient!
