Cult game developers Tale of Tales (honorably mentioned in our very special Friends section) just released their long-awaited horror game The Path. Known and loved for the immersive, atmospheric design that made the monochrome magnificence of The Graveyard an instant classic back in 08, their latest offering will further delight fans of the “Slow Game” aesthetic.
The Path tackles the Little Red Riding Hood-esque theme of lurking adulthood and all its sinister foibles and features six Tim Burtony sisters, from Ruby (Goth in a leg-brace) to Carmen (slinky yet emotionally needy teen). In turn, each sister is sent by mother dearest through the irksome forest, to ailing granny’s house. Will they stray from the path and encounter the big bad wolf (and his compatriots)? Only YOU can decide!
