Coming right up: a feature-length 100% 8-bit pixel animation about aging 80s rocker Roddy Stones and his troupe of cling-ons, as they try to save their beloved recording studio from the predatory hands of their evil arch enemies. Against a synthesized 80s soundtrack, cameo appearances from the likes of Adam Ant, Lipps Inc, and a host of other heartthrobs from the heady Smash Hits heyday should ensure maximum amusement – although 88 minutes might be a little long for our attention deficient, internet-addled brains. The Hit Squad is currently in production, and you can support the movie as an Exec Producer (a.k.a crowd-funder), with one of the perks being your very own pixellated self in a cameo role!
