It’s always gratifying when a graphic super-whizz gets his or her work animated by some kindly motion talent. Steven Harrington, known and loved for his Cali-flavored rock album-cover surrealism, teamed up with Karla Carnewal to bring us “A Two Part Invention of the Universe”. Screening at Sundance 09, the stop motion piece features rotating teepees that give birth to mountains and streams, and sinister-looking pipe-people who produce a pear-baby (we think)
