The super-humanitarian medical collective, Doctors Without Borders, just launched a campaign to radically reduce the severity and scope of malnutrition among small children, with a hard-hitting, interactive web doc. A selection of exceptional press photographers (Jessica Dimmock of Ninth Floor fame among them), made visual investigations into the contexts (social, political, geographical) and consequences, of poor nourishment in places as far-flung as Burkina Faso and Bangladesh – as well as North America. In a nutshell: current food aid provides a corn and soy staple that relieves a young child’s hunger, but does not provide proper nourishment.
