Shooting Back is a video resistance project in Palestine, which equips the youngsters of the occupied West Bank with cameras to document life in this sealed-off settlement of frustration, languor, and abuse at the hands of settlers and soldiers.
There are 150 cameras in circulation now: just recording and distributing images of the simple innocence of daily life in this area which has been closed to journalists since kingdom come, has had an impact on Israeli perceptions of life behind the wall, ending up on news sites and mainstream media at long last.
