Submarine ChannelTussilago, the latest short by pride of Sweden Jonas Odell (hero worship-worthy by Rolling Stones association!) is going to be L.A-premiering this week as part of the lovely Flux Screening Series at the Hammer, LA, (where, may we mention, we show-cased our Forget the Film, Watch the Titles screening last year – but we digress)… Judging from the trailer, Mr Odell stays true to his signature short-form style, combining rotoscoping and live action with some motion graphic details for added spice. The story sounds interesting too: ex-girlfriend of German terrorist in 1977 gets arrested as part of a brutal investigation into a kidnap plot.
