Submarine ChannelStumbled upon this incredibly stylish new-ish animated music video made by illustrator/filmmaker Ferry Gouw for Major Lazer. Looks like Gouw got his inspiration from watching Sunday morning cartoons. Especially those from the 1970s and 1980s. Think: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe by Filmation and Scooby Doo by Hanna-Barbera. Those two studios popularized the cheap and dirty animation technique called “Limited Animation” that allowed them to produce a lot of shows really fast.
