Cartoon Brew – THE animation blog – recently started Cartoon Brew TV: their own video channel dedicated to animation gems of all sorts and species. The latest addition to this new collection is ‘Dinner Time‘, perhaps “the most significant cartoon in animation history”, according to Cartoon Brew founder Jerry Beck, who discusses the animation with Mark Kausler in the audio commentary.
But Brew TV will also be a stage for contemporary animation. Michael Langan’s is a promising new talent whose graduation film ‘Doxology‘ is a must-watch. The scene of a man tangoing with a car is simply brilliant. Much like our own beloved, curated collection of shorts, Chunks, Brew TV also offers quality content, and context is provided through interviews and in-depth background info about the selected works.
