Hungarian new media open sourcers Kitchen Budapest have created an animation package with unusually high levels of Luddite-friendliness. Breathe life into your own virtual puppets using your basic household tech: a digital camera and webcam mic will do just fine. Named as Pixelache Software of the Year 2009, the tool invites continuous, real-time interaction, making it a favourite among VJs.
