The man (some say genius) behind Universal Everything, Matt Pyke has just released the deliciously-packaged, collectible DVD of his long running Advanced Beauty project. Allow us to fill you in: Simon Pyke, Freeform frontman (and brother of Matt) produced 18 crisp audio designs – ranging from the dramatic to the eerie to the downright dirty, while Matt picked 18 leading motionographers, designers and architects from around the world, and fitted each one out with a matching soundscape.
Using open source Processing, they ‘grew’ their visuals using the audio as their baseline – with results so immaculate that they damn near blow your head off.
