Stemming from the Internet Dark Ages of 1996, UbuWeb started as an experimental platform for “Concrete and Sound Poetry” (don’t ask), and has since expanded to become the go-to site for all things rare and avant-garde. From recordings of Frank O’Hara reading some New York poems, to video paintings by Brian Eno (image), the site champions open access to precious sound, film and art things that would surely disappear into obscurity were it not for the preserving power of the Internet.
