“Transmedia”, “crossmedia”, whatever you want to call it, there is a growing penchant for projects that blend a heady cocktail of the real and the virtual, inviting the public to interact with – and contribute to – the development of the (immersive, multi-platform, etc) narrative. Breathe is one such project: 3 short films made up of live events, scripted narrative and online audience interaction. As Breathe testifies, it’s early days yet – but a muse-worthy concept nonetheless.
