Submarine ChannelAttention all soldiers! ‘Coalition of the Willing‘ is a collaborative animated film about “an online war against global warming in a post-Copenhagen world.” Because if our unwilling world leaders won’t commit to saving our planet, we will darn well have to do it ourselves, is what project initiators Knife Party and Tim Rayner must have thought. The film advocates an open source approach to the war on global warming, and aims to “bring the fight against global warming to the people.” Online activism just the way we like it! ‘Coalition of the Willing’ is being made by 20 collaborating artists who each animate a section of the script. Sections will be released online over a period of 6 weeks, with 4-5 film sections uploaded in biweekly batches. The first four sections are online now.
