In the chaotic Cambodian capital making an exceptionally exciting web project called Boomtown Babylon with the French filmmaker Vincent Moon (of Blogotheque fame). We’re spreading these small, Flip-like Kodak video recorders in the charred slum of Boeung Kak and the dusty neo-slum of “Peace City” (an hour’s Mad Max ride out of town where evicted slum-dwellers from the inner-city are sent to live) inviting people to film one-shot, daily life stories for a super-special grass-roots interactive web film.
