Op-Docs, the short form opinionated documentaries that launched at The New York Times have officially gone deeper into multimedia journalism thanks to their latest collaboration with The National Film Board of Canada (NFB). Teaming up with Kat Cizek, the NFB’s Director of the multi-year and multi-collaborative Highrise project (including the Emmy-winning Out My Window), they produced A Short History of the Highrise, an interactive documentary that explores the 2,500 year global history of vertical living and issues of social equality in an increasingly urbanized world. Get a closer look, and then head over to experience the documentary here.
