The concept for the print and online campaign of the 2009 edition of the TEDxEdges event in Lisbon was re-imagined for the title sequence by designer/director Filipe Carvalho. Is there a difference between designing main titles for a movie versus an event? According to Carvalho, it’s all about mood. But because there’s no underlying narrative that you have to take into account, there’s more freedom to create a mood from scratch. The result? A more abstract and graphic title sequence.
